Adoption/Sales Agreement & Terms:
I will not knowingly sell any puppy to a puppy mill or "pet broker". So if that's what you are, please do not bother inquiring.
Purchasing/Adopting a puppy should not be an impulsive decision. In doing so, you are agreeing to keep this puppy in top condition and that you are making a commitment for the lifetime of the puppy..
To the best of our knowledge, your puppy is in good health at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated. If there are any known health problems, we will disclose them soon as we become aware of them. If there are any problems, we will address them and take them into consideration when we sell the puppy. We want you to get a healthy puppy that you're happy with! Puppies are all vet checked and come with a slip from the vet stating health at time of check.
Your puppy's immune system is not fully developed until it has completed it's series of puppy shots. We strongly urge you to never put your puppy on the floor or the ground outside of the vet clinic, instead carry your puppy or use a pet carrier. Ask the vet staff to disinfect the exam table before you set your pup down for his/her exam. There are a lot of sick animals in & out of the vet's clinic. Dog parks, pet shops, stores, puppy preschool and areas where other dogs of unknown health may have visited, should be off limits until your pup has completed his/her series of puppy shots.
We sell our puppies as pets. They are not supposed to be breeding dogs and we do not promote them as such.
We highly recommend that you get your puppy spayed or neutered as soon as your vet feels it is of a safe age to have the procedure done.
Timely spay/neuter can avoid unwanted breedings, reproductive-system-related health problems, and several unwanted personality traits.
Grooming and routine dental exams/cleanings and ear care are also a very important part of your puppy's health and well being. It is strongly recommended that you continue your puppy/dog on vitamins and good-quality, brand-name puppy/dog food that is specific to their age & nutritional needs. Talk with your vet about these needs.
And now for the legal-type jargon:
Should you send a deposit and your puppy would pass away or the vet would find a permanent, life-threatening problem with it's health at it's health check, you'd get to choose a different, comparable puppy. You would either get choice on any remaining unreserved puppies from the current litter, or, should all from the current litter be reserved, you'd get to choose a comparable puppy from the next available litter. You understand that slight defects such as hot spots, umbilical hernia, cherry-eye, un descended testicle, under bite or overbite are not considered serious or life threatening, so are not covered in this guarantee.
All monies are non-refundable. Puppies are not sold on a trial basis. If the need to rehome the puppy arises no refunds or exchanges will be made. The breeder/seller may be willing to assist you in finding a new home for your puppy. Because we can not control the care, environmental exposures, training given, or anything else once the puppies leave our home, there are no guarantees or warranties written, expressed or implied including, but not limited to, temperament, merchantability, health, or fitness for any particular purpose. Breeder/seller assumes no responsibility for puppy after it leaves the premises, for puppy's behavior, mortality, family disagreement, allergies or any other issue or for any charges, bills, expenses or fees relating directly or indirectly to the purchased puppy or situations that arise as a result of puppy or of said purchase. Adult size, conformation, color, and pattern are not guaranteed. All monies are non-refundable. It is understood that no warranty or representation has been made regarding this puppy, except as set forth in writing in this agreement. We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone at any time. We reserve the right to make changes to Prices, Availability and Terms at any time.
